Michigan Liquor License Types

MI - A Class C Liquor License allows a business to sell beer, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks for consumption on the premises.

This is a quota liquor license, which means the state no longer issues them. 
An SDD license must be purchased from someone willing to sell it in your county, through the auction. 

An SDM license allows a business to sell beer and wine only for consumption off the premise. 

The SDM license can be added to an SDD license for an additional $100., per year, if you wish to sell beer and wine to go.

MI - SDD Liquor Licenses allow a business to sell liquor and mixed spirit drinks for consumption off the premises.

MI - A Tavern license allows a business to sell beer and wine only for consumption on the premises.
