8. Submit Transfer of Liquor License Application Documents to AB&T: The buyer’s attorney may guide the buyer through completing the transfer of documents and submitting them to the Division of AB&T. The buyer may choose to put the liquor license in escrow with AB&T, or they may ask the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco (AB&T) to send over a temporary St. Johns County liquor license if the premises where they’ll be selling liquor is ready to open.
