How does a buyer/bidder know and what assurances do they have that the alcoholic beverage license they are bidding on/buying is clean and transferable?

All licenses on our live auction site have been checked and cleared for transfer by Liquor License Auctioneers prior to being offered for sale on our live auction website.  These alcoholic beverage licenses go through our specifically designed alcoholic beverage license data check system as well as through the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Controls website data check system to determine their sale and transferability status. When an alcoholic beverage license transfers through the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to a new licensee (buyer), it’s transferred as a new, clean, license under the new licensee’s name. If, for some reason, the alcoholic beverage license you won in the auction is not transferable due to some reason applicable to the seller and/or the license, we will fully refund your auction fees and license deposit.  For this refund policy to apply to your transaction, the reason for the non-transferability of the alcoholic beverage license cannot be due to your (the buyer’s) ineligibility to become a licensee (cannot be due to the buyer’s failure to qualify as a person or entity to whom an alcoholic beverage license may transfer or be held).”
