To sell only beer or wine (the number issued is unrestricted):
- Apply for a Consumption-on-Premise License (Allows customers to consume the alcoholic beverage on the property)
To sell liquor:
- Apply for a Quota License (limited in number based upon county population)

- Option 1 - Buy, Bid or Make an Offer on Liquor License Auctioneer's website.
- Option 2 - Enter the Quota License Lottery Drawing and win the right to apply for a quota license (entry forms accepted for 45 days starting the 3rd Monday in August of each year)

Apply for a special Restaurant License (SRX) (the number issued is unrestricted)
- Must derive 51% or more of the revenue from food and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Must comply with floor space and seating requirements set forth in general laws and special acts (DOC).
